As of Tuesday, Gov Ron Desantis still doesn't deem a shutdown or lockdown of Florida necessary so residents have started a petition.
Cases of Coronavirus continue to grow exponentially in the state of Florida, most of which in South Florida, exceeding 6000 cases throughout the state.
As a result many believe that it's time for the state to be shutdown in order to contain the spread and prevent further individuals from getting it but the Governor still doesn't think it's necessary.
So residents of Florida have started a petition to shut down the state that reads as follows:
Florida Governor Ron Desantis our family are in risk, please SHUT DOWN Florida. Around 100 Florida residents are infected everyday.
