Beaches In South Florida Will Close For The 4th of July Holiday

Due to concerns over the rise in COVID-19 cases in Florida beaches will mostly likely be closing 4th of July weekend.

According to sources at NBC 6, Carlos Gimenez will be signing an emergency order to close all beaches July 3rd - July7th.

This comes after week of soaring Coronavirus cases in Florida with a record breaking day on Friday hit almost 9,000 cases.

UPDATE: Mayor Carlos Gimenez has tweeted out that he will be signing the emergency order.
