Visitors to New York from virus-stricken states, like Florida, may face a $2000 fine if they don’t provide contact information upon arrival.
New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced that the state is issuing an emergency health order requiring travelers from high-COVID-19 states to provide their contact information upon arrival or face a summons with a $2000 fine.
In a tweet about issuing the order he said, “We’re serious about enforcing quarantine,”
High-COVID-19 states include Arizona, Texas, California, Georgia and of course Florida to name a few.
