The school district in Boca Raton had to send out a message to parents reminding them to not appear in underwear or holding "large joints" in the background of their kid's zoom calls.
Teachers say some parents are drinking, smoking, and appearing half dressed while their kids are in online classes.
During a school board meeting, one teacher at an elementary school in Florida said, "Parents, please make sure that you have on proper clothing when you are walking behind your child’s computer because we've seen them in their drawers, their bras, and everything else.”
She added, "Parents, when you are helping your children at their computer please do not appear with big joints in your hands and cigarettes.”
Some parents were even spotted drinking early in the morning or rocking an ankle monitor.
