The Weeknd has a pretty legit reason for wearing bandages on his face especially last night at the AMAs where he had his whole face covered.
During his Sunday night performance at the AMAs The Weeknd won and performed at the American Music Awards but when he went up to receive his award he had his whole face covered in bandages.
It looked super odd and we all just couldn't figure out why the strange "fashion choice"
Turns out, the reason he had his face wrapped up is because it's part of an anti drunk-driving message.
He has been promoting the message in his new music which also explains him sporting a broken nose look and bandages in other performances.
