Half of all adults in the US will receive at least one COVID vaccine dose by the end of the weekend.
The CDC says currently 41.7% of Americans aged 18 or older have gotten at least an initial shot. And they say that number will hit the 50% at some point over the weekend.
The news comes after President Biden announced all adults in the country should be eligible to receive COVID-19 vaccines by April 19th.
In Florida anyone 18+ is eligible to get the vaccine and minors 16 & 17 can get it with approval from parents/guardians and by appointment.
