Hundreds of protestors took over AIA in Ft Lauderdale Saturday for the "Million Maskless March."
According to NBC 6, the event was in protest of the use of face masks that have been in use for over a year since the pandemic began.
Protestors were seen on AIA and Las Olas with signs, American flags, and Trump 2020 flags.
Those who participated in the protest say they don’t believe the CDC or the their guidelines to states that masks should be worn in public spaces in order to reduce the spread of COVID.
NBC 6 spoke to some of the protestors including Sandra Chase who said, “They don’t work and everyone knows that they don’t work. Their time has come and gone and they’re just trying to lock people down. It’s all political.”
