Miami-Dade & Broward Schools To Return To 100% In Person Learning This Fall

It was announced today that students in Miami-Dade County and Broward County will be back to 100% in-person learning this fall.

Broward Schools Superintendent Robert Runcie announced that Broward would be returning to in-person learning on campus for the next school year starting in the fall as a result of vaccine availablity for teachers and staff.

In Miami-Dade, Superintendent Alberto Carvalho, said they too would be returning to full in-person learning on campus for the upcoming school year.

“Many of our students have learned well online, but there is no substitute for the live presence of a dedicated, caring professional teacher, so it is our plan as a school system to welcome back 100% of all our students across all grade levels, pre-K through 12, for the 2021-22 school year," said Superintendent Carvalho.
