Residents at a Northwest Miami-Dade apartment building have been evacuated following a portion of the roof collapsing on Thursday.
According to WSVN, the roof collapse happened at Northwest 175th Street and 68th Avenue at around 4:15 p.m., Thursday.
After Miami-Dade Fire Rescue personnel arrived they reported no injuries but proceeded to evacuate the apartment building.
A group of firefighters could be seen on the roof of the building pulling up some material as they investigated the partial collapse.
WSVN also reports that, officials so far have determined the damage to the building was limited to the exterior, and there does not appear to be damage to the inside of the building.
The cause of the partial roof collapse remains unknown.
