We Remember Coach Feis, The Hero That Shielded Students From Gunfire

This is Aaron Feis.

He worked as an Assistant Coach and Security Guard at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, FL where 17 lives were lost on Valentine's Day after a former student opened fire on campus with an AR-15 rifle.

According to the official Twitter page for the school's football team, Feis heroically shielded students from gunfire during the incident, consequently costing the coach his life.

According to the school's website, Feis is survived by his wife Melissa and his daughter. He graduated from the school in 1999 and became a junior varsity head coach in 2002.
