Iggy Azalea Promotes 'Señorita' As Lizzo Tries to Beat Her Billboard Record

Lizzbians have seen rising star, Lizzo walk us through the journey of her new-found success with 'Truth Hurts' dominating the mainstream charts, though the single was originally released in 2017. On Twitter and Instagram, Lizzo has been petitioning fans to keep supporting the feel-good anthem, as in just two more weeks, the record could be the longest female rap #1 of all time.


After failing to mention the lead, Iggy Azalea while praising the current number one record holder 'Fancy' by Azalea featuring Charli XCX, Lizzo was called a “troll” by Iggy Azalea as the beginning of many tweets defending the Australian rapper’s throne.

One tweet led to another, then Iggy Azalea changed her Twitter name to 'Stream señorita'. The rapper then tweeted “Stream señorita for clear skin” with an embedded link to the YouTube video.


Shawn Mendes thanked Azalea for the promotion, but the rapper followed up ensuring fans her ‘trolling promotional tweets’ were all just in good fun.
