Instagram has updated its iPhone application to support iOS 13’s dark mode feature just in time for spooky season. (Truth is, the update actually has no correlation with October or Halloween), but the new feature has just been added to accommodate users who prefer a darker setting.
Other social media applications, such as Twitter, already features a dark mode viewing option for any desktop or phone model, although unlike the tweeting platform, Instagram’s new viewing option has to match your iPhone’s settings.
After Instagram’s recent updates hiding user activity and talks of blocking certain content based on age or demographic, hopefully the new iPhone dark feature becomes a new additional setting.
