“Alexa, deck the halls with boughs of holly, fa la la la la…”.
Amazon is taking the holidays to a whole new level with the debut of an Alexa-compatible Christmas tree. The company will release the “smart” voice activated tree this season on November 15th providing a fun resource that will make decorating for the holidays much more jolly! An Alexa tree also cuts down one step, you can play music and already have a decorated tree.
The Alexa-tree is called “Mr Christmas” and will be sold as a seven-foot artificial tree. The price is $303.38 and in addition to the ability to turn on music by voice-command, “Mr. Christmas” will have red, green yellow, blue, multi-color and sparkle lighting options which can also be activated by voice commands. The tree is built to be easy assembled like a traditional faux Christmas tree. Also, if you’re worried about too much tech on the tree, the branches will reportedly be flame resistant.
