Imagine writing a 15,000 words essay on Legally Blonde and then years later having the chance to interview Resse Witherspoon!? Can you imagine?
Of course, you would give her that paper! Right??? That's your moment!
Well, that's exactly what happened to journalist, Lucy Jayne Ford.
She was interviewing Reese Witherspoon, Oprah Winfrey, and Mindy Kaling promoting their movie a Wrinkle in Time and she took a moment to tell Reese about her university dissertation.
"Wow!" exclaimed Witherspoon.
“Thank you! That really touches my heart,” the actress said. “That’s amazing. Thank you. That means a lot to me.”
Our favorite part is at the end when Reese was about to get up to leave she asked Lucy, “I have one question about this—is it scented?”
Obviously fans, a reference to the movie where Elle Woods scents her resume.
“I actually put perfume on it before I left,” Lucy admitted to which Reese responded, “I know you did."
The moment I handed @RWitherspoon my 15,000 dissertation/love letter to Legally Blonde - and yes, it was scented. I blacked out somewhere between her taking it and Oprah saying 'wow' #WrinkleInTime pic.twitter.com/56XV8FElqV— Lucy Jayne F🌸rd (@lucyj_ford) March 13, 2018
