It's been a pretty ugly weekend with rain and thunderstorms hitting us every couple of hours. But, if you have some time to enjoy the beach while its dry, health officials are saying to avoid a couple of South Florida beaches.
Apparently, test results came back saying Crandon South Beach in Key Biscayne and Haulover Beach South have high levels of a bacteria called, enterococci. This bacteria can cause urinary tract infections to meningitis and pneumonia. Yuck!
Who wants to be sick in the summer? Not me, or you. So stay away from those beaches and just get ready for The Elvis Duran Summer Pool Party on Thursday. The pool is beautiful and the water is clean. Get your bikini ready for a day of fun!
