If the 2000's are not known for anything else, it will definitely be for remaking classic movies. I honestly think we should stop touching the classics like Lion King, The Little Mermaid, Aladdin and etc.
Now, Disney will be remaking a couple movies for it's new streaming service, Disney+. On a conference call, Disney President, Bob Iger says they will be reimaging movies like Home Alone, Cheaper By The Dozen, and Diary of a Wimpy Kid.
This comes after Disney purchased over $71 billion assets from 21st Century Fox in March, that gave them rights to film franchises.
There's no date of when the remakes will happen, but Disney+ streaming service is available now for $6.99 a month.
