Unfortunately, we've all heard ride-sharing horror stories, from robberies to even murder. While some of those cases are the result of riders hopping in the wrong car, Uber has launched a new security feature that will make sure your driver is an actual Uber driver. The feature involves a four digit pin number. The number will show up on the rider's phone and the driver has to confirm the number before the rider gets in the car.
The new feature has already rolled out in the U.S and Canada.
I'm happy Uber has launched this new security feature as it will help all of us who take the ride sharing services safer.
