Well, there's nothing like a challenge (a.k.a the coronavirus) to spark innovation, and that's what's taking place all around the world. As you know, Easter is this Sunday, and due to social distancing Miami Beach's annual Easter Egg Hunt was canceled.
However, that didn't stop Miami Beach Parks and Recreation Department Assistant Director Cindy Casanova from bringing joy to her community. She says they are prepared to distribute up to 750 bag of goodies to local children for Easter.
For a basket delivery by tomorrow, city residents must send an email today to the department with names, full addresses and number of children in the homes. The e-mail address is: Recreation@miamibeachfl.gov
