A few weeks ago, South Florida's frontline workers and first responders received a flyover from the Blue Angels. It happened during the week and in the middle of the day, so unfortunately if your boss scheduled a Zoom meeting at that time, you were able to hear it - but not see it.
Well, this weekend in honor of Memorial Day, South Florida is getting another flyover to honor military, healthcare workers, and those who are on the frontline fighting this pandemic every day. This is all thanks to The National Salute to America’s Heroes and presented by Hyundai.
On Saturday, Four U.S. Air Force F-16C Fighting Falcon aircrafts, U.S. Coast Guard MH65 helicopter and a USCG C-144 aircraft will flyover 34 South Florida hospitals between 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. Everyone from The Keys to Palm Beach will be able to see this beautiful tribute. Each type of aircraft will have a different route, so check the schedule below to see when you should head outside.
Officials want everyone to enjoy the flyover but also want you to stay safe and continue practicing social distancing while watching.
