One place I loved as a kid and even more now as an adult is a good, fun museum experience. Three months after COVID-19 shut the entire world down, The Museum of Discovery and Science (MODS) in Fort Lauderdale will reopen today to the general public. They opened a few days last week to museum passholders.
While the experience will feel a little different, it'll still be fun and educational for you or your little one. Here's what you need to know before you go. MODS says the best way to get your ticket, is to order online - even those who are passholders. They will take your temperature and ask you some health questions before you're allowed in. Everyone over the age of 2 has to wear a mask while inside.
There are some new hours you need to know about, MODS is open Tuesday - Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Sunday 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. They close an hour during the day for deep cleaning which is AWESOME!
