John Legend and Chrissy Teigen's 8-year-old daughter Luna is an excellent negotiator!

Luna recently interviewed her dad for Billboard about his Grammy-nominated new children's album, My Favorite Dream, but before they got into it, she got down to business. After John brought up their previous discussions about the dangers of phones and social media, delaying them giving a phone to Luna until she is a teenager, the little one tried her luck at a "compromise."

John told his daughter, "Lately, we’ve been getting some good advice about like phones and social media and how dangerous they are, and how we’re not gonna let you have a smartphone until you’re like, 16 years old. What do you think of that advice?" Luna replied, "How about we...," and then trailed off before her dad finished the question for her, "compromise?"

Luna followed up by asking, "How about we compromise on nine?" Maybe it worked, maybe it didn't, but John couldn't stop himself from laughing at the exchange.

Elsewhere in the interview, Luna asked her dad all about his new album, and the singer/songwriter explained of his decision to make My Favorite Dream, "Now that I have four kids, and I've watched all of you guys react to music and fall in love with music in different ways, I felt like I was inspired to write an album for my kids and then for all the other kids that are out there and their parents, too."
