The Miami Dolphins are making a generous donation to the Sylvester Cancer Center. They’ve committed $75-million to the center and have also implemented a new initiative, Dolphins Challenge Cancer. It’s a year-round movement providing hope to families, friends, coworkers and neighbors who have been affected by cancer.
The Miami Dolphins typically hold a Dolphins Cycling Challenge which is an annual bike ride. It began in 2010. This year they are transitioning to the Dolphins Challenge Cancer initiative. An official statement from the team says that "those affected by cancer, remains a top area of focus for our community efforts."
