More than 70 animatronic dinosaurs are getting ready to stampede into the BB&T Center parking lot for Jurassic Quest Drive-Thru. The nationally touring dinosaur exhibit will showcase animatronic triceratopses and 50-foot-long megalodons, fierce velociraptors and long-necked herbivores during an hourlong drive-thru safari that will wind through jungle set pieces in the parking lot.
Because this is a drive-thru, ticket buyers must literally sit inside their vehicles (no golf carts, trailers or car rentals allowed) as they course through the parking lot, which means no riding on truck beds. Instead of in-person narrated tours, visitors can access online audio tours of each exhibit. It’s going down Dec. 4-20
