While fans were heartbroken to hear that the Lizzie McGuire reboot won't happen, no one was more upset than the cast themselves.
Just two months into shooting, Disney fired showrunner Terri Minsky and announced that they wanted to "move in a different creative direction".
Star Hilary Duff called out the company on Instagram, saying it was "doing a disservice to everyone" by "limiting the realities of a 30-year-old's journey to live under the ceiling of a PG rating."
Robert Carradine, who played Lizzie's dad on the show, said the move was "baffling," while Hallie Todd, who played Lizzie's mom, felt it was "ridiculous"
