Tuesday, Ulta Beauty announced that it will be doubling up on Black-owned beauty brands in its stores. The move, which is in line with Black History Month, is scheduled to be completed by the end of the year.Â
Besides that, Ulta plans to give employees more diversity training to promote inclusion when customers of different backgrounds enter the store.Â
To move the process forward Ulta has hired "Black-ish" star Tracee Ellis Ross as its Diversity and Inclusion Advisor to oversee various company initiatives.Â
This is an awesome move for Ulta! As a beauty and skincare junkie, I'm looking forward to seeing all the new products in stores and I'm so excited to try them out!
