Last call in Miami Beach will be changed from 5am to 2am for dozens of bars, hotels, and other businesses if city commissioners adopt an ordinance that would roll back hours of alcohol sales. The entertainment district of 16th street on Collins Ave and Ocean Drive would be effected. The commission will hold a second reading of the ordinance at a public hearing May 12th before any decision is made.
Back in February, the city limited alcohol sales in hopes to control the Spring Break crowds. About 44 existing businesses that would be affected by the rollback if it goes into effect.
