Britney Spears is set to appear in court to discuss her conservatorship. A hearing was held on Tuesday (April 27) where Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Brenda Penny scheduled a hearing for June 23rd where Spears will be able to speak.
Britney’s attorney, Samuel Ingham, asked the judge to set the court date,“on an expedited basis,”but he didn’t reveal what Spears will say.
Britney has been vocal about not wanting her father to be over her conservatorship, which she’s been under for the past 13 years. Bessemer Trust was appointed co-conservator last fall, but the order hasn’t taken place due to not being able to agree on the governing language.
A hearing to deal with various accounting and other motions is set for July 14th.
