Just when we thought were were over the gas shortage and gas prices were leveling out it looks prices may be on the rise...again. The wholesale price of crude oil rose 5% last week. Florida’s state average gas price may raise 5-10 cents this week because of that.
On Monday morning, the average price for a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline in Florida is $2.85, according to AAA data. That’s below the national average of $3.05.
Right now the average price of gas in Miami-Dade and Broward is $2.89. Just don't go hoarding gas this week thinking you're getting a cheaper price please! We don't need another gas shortage!
