It's the first day of fall, which means it's almost spooky season! Halloween is around the corner and you can get into the spirit by visiting the many haunted houses here in South Florida! Now I'll be honest, I love a little spook, but these haunted houses will feel like torture they're so scary! Whether its killer clowns or zombies youâre into- there's something for everyone. Here's some of the top Haunted Houses here in South Florida (according to Miami New Times) to check out this season.
Enigma Haunt

This will be the last year for Enigma, which takes over two stories of a former Bally Total Fitness. They'll have three experiences this year: The swamp-based Cursed, the carnival-themed Twisted Mayhem, and the mixed bag that is Realms of Terror. It's running from October 1st through Halloween and tickets are between $35-45.
Fright Nights at South Florida Fairgrounds

Killer clowns and zombies will be roaming around the fairgrounds this season. Fright Nights will also offer up three haunted experiences: The elitist Red Room; Fatal Fables, which turns childhood tales into nightmares; and Curse of the Siren. It runs October 8th to Halloween with tickets at $40.
House of Horror at Miami International Mall
1625 NW 107th Ave., Doral
The iconic House of Horror is back after a two year hiatus. It's back and scarier than ever with Toxic Apocalypse and and Asylum theme haunted house. You can also enjoy carnival rides, food, and games. It's running now through Halloween. Tickets cost $25-40.
Miramar Halloween Drive and Scream at Miramar Regional Park

If you enjoyed the concept of a haunted drive through like last year, then you'll have a good scream at this one. It's a great alternative for those who are concerned about the ongoing pandemic. Guests can cruise through six settings inspired by horror flicks: Carnival Creeps,Shawshank County,Graveyard Shift,Morgue of Misery,Screaming Dead, and DĂa de los Muertos without having to leave their car. Runs October 1st through Halloween and tickets cost between $60-100.
No Way Out at Westland Mall
1675 W. 49th St., Hialeah
No way out is located in a former Sears, which is scary enough. The haunted themes this year will thrive off your sleeping experience: Insomnia and Sleep Paralysis. There's also a laser zombie hunt called Infected. You can check it out now through Halloween for $25-35.
Paranoia Horror Maze

Paranoia is the only attraction open year round. This pitch black maze in Wynwood will have you running out of it in horror. They litterally have a tally of how many people have chickened out of the experience on a wall. The theme is always changing so if you haven't been in a while, may be worth it to check out. Tickets cost $25.
