So I went to my first South Beach Food and Wine Festival this weekend and it was INCREDIBLE! Like how have I lived my entire 20's without going to this event. This was seriously the best wine, drinks, food I've ever had in my entire life.
I went Sunday, which was the last day of the festival. As soon as I walked in to the Goya Grand Tasting Village, I had to hit the Truly stand just to get things going you know. TBH I think I only had one glass of wine- a Pinot Noir from Cote des Roses which was not only delicious, but the brand aesthetic is everything. The rest of the time I was sipping on margs from Teremana. 10/10 would recommend.
Got to see Food Network star Scott Conant prepare one of my favorite foods ever- a Lobster Roll live. I mean that is honestly one of the most invaluable experiences ever that I could not get anywhere else and it was amazing! He's so funny and sweet and even gave one of the audience members his apron š„²
We then made our way to The Grutman Experience on site where Cedric Gervais was DJing. He brought out guests like the Food God (aka Jonathan Cheban aka Kim Kardashian's best friend and I FREAKED out), Maluma, and even DJ Khaled came out towards the end! I heard him say "anotha one" IRL and my life has been made. Not to be dramatic. Had some awesome eats while in the Grutman Experience too like wagyu steak and taro from Gekko (yes Bad Bunny's spot). So happy Gekko was there- I've been trying to get a reservation there for MONTHS!
Needless to say I can't wait for next year! Check out my reel from the day below!
