New Vaccination Site To Open In Coral Springs

If you have a family member that’s tried to get the COVID-19 vaccine in South Florida, you may have heard how difficult it has been to get an appointment at one of sites. Broward County is working hard to keep things moving after the backlog, so they have announced they will open a brand new vaccination site in Coral Springs this week.

The new site is scheduled to open Wednesday at Coral Square Mall. It will be open Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm, and vaccinations will be available by appointment only to those 65 or older. It’s going to be a walk-in site (not drive-thru) and you can learn more about booking an appointment through the Florida Department of Health portal on Broward's website here.

Florida’s Department of Health confirmed 11,576 additional cases of COVID-19 today (Monday), with another 159 resident deaths announced, bringing the resident death toll to 23,071.
