Official Guinness World Records Attempt Coming To Ft. Lauderdale Beach on Saturday, February 8th
The organization Team Jetpack is attempting to set the record for “World’s Loudest Human Carried Stereo System” on Ft. Lauderdale Beach. This is a full weekend of events with the marquee moment on February 8th at approximately 5:30 PM when there will be an official Guinness World Records Attempt.
An official Guinness World Records adjudicator will be on hand to record the attempt and speak with the media. Nationally renowned DJs including Liquid Todd and #1 Hit Producer, Dean Mason will be performing all weekend long.
ALL proceeds from the weekend of events will be going to charity - this includes the record attempt party February 8th on Fort Lauderdale Beach, the Pre-Party on Friday, February 7th at The Hub Lounge in Ft. Lauderdale and the Celebration party the night of February 8th at Stache in Ft. Lauderdale. Donations will be evenly divided between the Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital and the Whet Foundation. Team Jetpack will also be doing a dance party/silent disco for the children at the Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital on February 7th at 1:00 PM.

We have been doing our mobile dance parties at music festivals, pop-up parties, Groove Cruise and in community events such as grade schools and children’s hospitals. Friday, February 7th – The Hub Lounge, 6 PM-close (826 NE 4 th Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33304). Get a first glimpse of the sound system, meet the team and enjoy a huge line-up of DJs from across the nation as well as local favorites.
Saturday, February 8th – Fort Lauderdale Beach, 1-9 PM (1100 Seabreeze Blvd Fort Lauderdale, FL 33316). This is the main event. The Guinness attempt will occur at approximately 5:30 PM. We have another full lineup of DJs including an incredible percussionist/DJ duo, ‘Drums of the Sun’ who’s music is a big hit with all ages as well as #1 hit producer, Dean Mason.
Saturday, February 8th – Stache, 9 PM – close (109 SW 2nd Ave, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33312). This is the celebration party with headliner Liquid Todd. There will be two rooms of sound with DJs coming in from across the country.

“When this all started almost 20 years ago with one backpack speaker I had no idea it would
grow to what it is today. One of the most significant moments in our history was when we
started looking into how to give back to the community. Seeing the looks of happiness on the
kids at our first Children’s hospital event as they danced around and played with the DJ mixers
really hit home on what we are all about. Seeing the look of relief on the exhausted parents
faces as their child forgot about their illness, if only for a brief period of time, not to mention
their siblings who got to have fun after who knows how many countless trips back and forth to
the hospital each day…that changed our mood.”
