If you were looking to get a Disney World annual pass, you’re out of luck- unless you’re a current pass holder. Disney is only renewing passes for current holders and won’t sell new ones. This comes just after Disneyland in California announced its plans to halt its annual pass program entirely.
Disney officials would not say how many people hold these passes or how much the move will cost the company, adding it would begin issuing pro-rated refunds to eligible pass holders.
Disney World reopened in July after nearly four months with new rules in place to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 including mandatory masks and social distancing. So if you do plan on going, make sure you're masking up.
