TIJUANA FLATS TEX-MEX CELEBRATES NATIONAL AUTISM AWARENESS MONTH BY HOSTING SPIRIT NIGHT FUNDRAISERS IN SUPPORT OF
THE DAN MARINO FOUNDATION
Fort Lauderdale, FL – April XX, 2018 – During April, Tijuana Flats Tex-Mex will partner with The Dan Marino Foundation to help support their ongoing mission of "Empowering individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities.” Starting Sunday, April 8th through Sunday, April 29th Tijuana Flats will host Spirit Night Fundraisers every Sunday at all twenty-seven (27) of their South Florida locations from 4 to 9 pm. Twenty percent of all proceeds will directly benefit The Dan Marino Foundation.
For more than 26 years, The Dan Marino Foundation has worked to create unique and impactful initiatives in the community. Among these first-of-their-kind initiatives are the Nicklaus Children's Hospital Dan Marino Outpatient Center, the Marino Autism Research Institute, Marino Adapted Aquatics, Summer STEPS Employment Programs, Virtual Interactive Training Agent Program (ViTA-DMF), and now post-secondary programs at Marino Campus Broward, located in downtown Fort Lauderdale, and Marino Campus Miami-Dade, located at Florida International University’s (FIU) Modesto Maidique Campus (MMC) in Miami. At Marino Campus, class instruction combined with real-world work experience prepares students in obtaining nationally recognized industry certifications in Hospitality and Computer Technology.
In addition to the “Spirit Night” Fundraisers, and through collaboration with their Just In Queso Foundation, Tijuana Flats will be collecting funds at all twenty-seven (27) locations throughout South Florida. This fundraising initiative will offer their customers an opportunity to further support the mission of The Dan Marino Foundation every time they visit Tijuana Flats across Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami-Dade Counties now through April 30, 2018.
