One of the area’s most popular food events featuring more than 12 top local chefs will return for its 21st year on Wednesday, November 7. Signature Chefs Auction presented by Goya® benefiting the March of Dimes begins at 6:30 p.m. at a one-of-a-kind venue, Paradise Plaza Event Space, in the Miami Design District.
Signature Chefs Auction presented by Goya ® on Thursday, November 7 will include a stellar lineup of chefs from more than a dozen of the area’s most notorious restaurants, including Chef Karla Hoyos from The Bazaar by Jose Andres, Executive Chef Timon Balloo from Sugarcane, featured on Iron Chef Gauntlet Executive Chef Clark Bowen from Boulud Sud, Chef Fernando Desa from Goya®, Chefs Michael Beltran & Justin Flit from Ariete and Nave, Chef Benjamin Murray from Pao, Corporate Executive Pastry Chef Jessica Scott from Barton G, Chef Horacio Rivadero from Plant, Executive Pastry Chef Max Santiago, Food Network’s Best Baker in America, Azucar Ice Cream, Panther Coffee, Exquisito Chocolates, Miami’s first chocolate factory - with more Chefs and special performances revealed soon. The evening will include remarkable entertainment, a spirited live auction featuring many once-in-a-lifetime opportunities and our very special Fund the Mission.

Funds raised by Signature Chefs Auction help support research, lead programs and provide education and advocacy so that every baby can have the best possible start. Today, one in 10 babies in the United States is born premature, including one in 10 in Florida. March of Dimes is committed to working together to improve the health of every mom and baby.

Celebrations leading to November 7 are already underway. Culinary Chair Chef Richard Hales and Event Chair Rebecca McCarron welcomed more than 60 sponsors, media partners, chefs, board members, and donors at The 1930s House at the VIP event on Thursday, September 27 hosted by The Confidante Miami Beach to kick-off this year’s Signature Chefs. Guests enjoyed the savory bites of Chef Hales’ restaurant The Bird & Bone while listening to the energetic sounds of The Dutchies and capped off with the sweet delights of Exquisito Chocolates. March of Dimes Miami Board of Directors Chairman Luis Arango thanked the lively group for attending, while prominent chefs from the area's outstanding restaurants shared what is to come with their tasting menu for the main event.
