MERCEDES-BENZ CORPORATE RUN ANNOUNCES OPEN REGISTRATION FOR THE 35TH ANNUAL RACE SERIES – TEAMS BEGIN THEIR WELLNESS JOURNEY OCT. 15
Turkish Airlines, the presenting sponsor for the second consecutive year of the annual race series.
After a third consecutive year of record-breaking participation, TeamFootWorks, producers of the highly-anticipated Mercedes-Benz Corporate Run series presented by Turkish Airlines, announces registration for the 2019 5K Run/Walk will begin on October 15. With 36,187 participants in 2016, 38,181 in 2017 and 38,555 in 2018, the race series will once again take over South Florida with three runs beginning in Fort Lauderdale on April 4, continuing in West Palm Beach on April 17 and concluding in Miami on April 25. Each race will benefit its local United Way chapter (Broward County, Palm Beach County, Miami-Dade County) donating $1 per participant to the organization. To date, the Mercedes-Benz Corporate Run presented by Turkish Airlines, its participants and TeamFootWorks has raised more than $200,000 for United Way.

To help build excitement for the 2019 Mercedes-Benz Corporate Run presented by Turkish Airlines, TeamFootWorks will host team captain rallies on February 6, downtown Ft. Lauderdale and February 20, downtown Miami.

The Mercedes-Benz Corporate Run Series attracts participants from more than 1,200 South Florida companies and incorporates a special competition to award the overall men’s, women’s and co-ed teams in 20 different industries. The run is open to employees of businesses, corporations, government agencies, financial institutions and non-profits. Known as “Florida’s Largest Office Party”, everyone is encouraged to participate and join their company team to walk or run as a group.
