TO RAISE AUTISM AWARENESS AND
“GO THE EXTRA YARD FOR THOSE WITH AUTISM”
Miami, FL – The Dan Marino Foundation (DMF) and Badia Spices are once again partnering to launch an awareness and fundraising campaign in support of those living with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Now through December 31, 2019, when consumers purchase a bottle of Badia Everything Bagel or Everything Hemp anywhere in the world where Badia Spices are sold, Badia will donate a portion of the proceeds from the sales to The Dan Marino Foundation.
DMF, was founded in 1992 by Dan and Claire Marino, motivated by experiences in raising their son, Michael, who was diagnosed with autism. Through the generosity of community and corporate partners like Badia Spices, the Foundation has raised more than $79 million to create impactful initiativesincluding the Nicklaus Children's Hospital Dan Marino Outpatient Center, the Marino Autism Research Institute, and Marino Campus post-secondary programs in Broward and Miami-Dade Counties. At the forefront of creating new technologies to reduce the rate of unemployment for the individuals served, DMF has developed award-winning software including Virtual Interactive Training Agent (ViTA DMF). Whether pushing the frontiers of mixed reality with partners like Google and Magic Leap or preparing young adults with autism and other disabilities for careers, The Dan Marino Foundation is a game-changer.
