'The Bachelor' Peter Weber Splits Face Open While On Set, Undergoes Surgery

Unfortunately for the star of the new season of "The Bachelor," real life happens!

It's being reported by Radar Online that Peter Weber suffered severe cuts to the face after falling on glass while playing gulf in Costa Rica. He received 22 stitches after traveling 2 hours to the hospital. Sources close to the outlet say "He's pulling through."

The host of the show, Chris Harrison, said this about the 28-year old:

“Peter suffered a freak accident. He got a cut on his head, he did get stitches but he’s 100 percent OK and production is already back underway. He’s still the dashing, handsome pilot we’ve all dreamed of.”
