While many marveled at the banana taped to the wall at Miami's annual Art Basel, another spectacle took place and we're thinking it was more interesting.
Kanye West's Sunday service took over the 305 at the abandoned Miami Marine Stadium in Virginia Key Beach over the weekend as he premiered his opera "Mary." It's basically the usual nativity scene and story except with a Ye twist – everyone was completely silver! The play took place on a boat in the water as onlookers gazed from bleachers on land. The set list included some familiar tunes; "Can't Tell Me Nothing," "Power," and "Devil In A New Dress."
The production was directed by Vanessa Beecroft, the same woman responsible for the artsy visual for his single "Runaway."
