We've heard this story before, the artist sues the very label that catapulted them to stardom alleging corruption and money issues... this time it's Megan Thee Stallion dealing with her label 1501 Certified Entertainment.
A judge granted the Houston rapper a restraining order against her label in order for her to release new music, citing that 1501 is blocking her from doing so. Label head, Carl Crawford, filed a motion to dissolve the restraining order saying she can't do that in the first place, but the judge did not side with the label in the matter so we can expect new music TOMORROW! Her new project Suga will be available as of midnight Friday the 6th, and it's gonna be interesting to see where this lawsuit ends up.
We're thinking the label is wishing they would have just done things right from the start.
