History was made last night at the 2020 NFL Drafts.
For the first-time ever, the event was held "virtually" due to the global pandemic switching up the original plans to hold the draft in Las Vegas. What's more, the telecast (broadcast, cable, and digital viewing combined) shattered the all-time record with an average of 15.6 million viewers. This is 37% more than last year, and way higher than the previous record from 2014, which was 12.4 million.
It was a night-to-remember for Miami Dolphins fans too! Home team had a huge first round with 3 picks, including Tua Tagovailoa. The 20-year old Hawaiian native who currently plays for Alabama is the highest selected Red Elephant QB Joe Namath in 1965.
