As South Florida students make their return to the brick-and-mortor style of classes, naturally parents have worries and want to be equipped as much as possible to set their student up for success in this ever-changing school year. Well, now parents and students have an online resource to track where COVID-19 infections have affected Miami-Dade and Broward county public schools.
For Dade: click here.
For Broward: click here.
In the meantime, a clinical trial has been launched in Hialeah for COVID-19 patients who haven't been to hospitals yet. The idea is to see if antibodies can effectively treat those who've gotten coronavirus but aren't super super sick from it. As reported by NBC:
Individuals 18 years and older in Miami-Dade and Broward counties who have been diagnosed with COVID-19 in the past week and are not in the hospital can participate in the study taking place at AGA Clinical Trials at 900 West 49 Street, Suite 430, in Hialeah.
