Alex Trebek Passes Away At 80 After Battling Pancreatic Cancer

Alex Trebek has passed away at the age of 80 after battling stage 4 pancreatic cancer. Reportedly, he passed peacefully at home surrounded by family and friends.

The game show host, most known for his role on the iconic Jeopardy, was diagnosed early last year. Before singing his contract extension, he revealed he was considering retirement and thought of two replacements – L.A. Kings announcer Alex Faust and CNN legal analyst Laura Coates.
