Bad news that could've been worse!
A 2-year-old girl had to be rushed to the hospital after falling 4 stories from the window of a Miami apartment. The incident occurred at the 1900 block of Calle 8 in Little Havana and authorities on the scene say that the toddler was lucky.
It turns out the girl hit some palm trees which redirected her fall onto the shrubbery, rather than the concrete pavement. WHEW!
Police are now investigating what was happening that led the girl to the window in the first place; she's expected to be fine.
