After 19 seasons on-air – filled with giveaways, celebrity interviews, and a lot a lot a lot. of dancing – Ellen DeGeneres will be ending her show by the end of the '21-'22 season. This comes following PLENTY of controversy surrounding her workplace behavior and demeanor, with lots of employee complaints coming to light.
She told Hollywood Reporter, however, that this decision was made way before the rumors and controversy:
"When you’re a creative person, you constantly need to be challenged – and as great as this show is, and as fun as it is, it’s just not a challenge anymore."
