New Britney Spears Documentaries Released, Jamie Suspended As Conservator

Britney Spears may finally see the light at the end of the tunnel that is her 13-year long conservatorship.

This past Friday, Netflix released a documentary to shed light on the legal battles Britney is facing lately. And just yesterday, Hulu released their own doc on the beloved recording artist. Coincidence that they premiered just days before her latest hearing, the one where we'll know if the conservatorship will be dissolved? We don't think so...

In the end, the judge presiding over the case has suspended Jamie Spears as Britney's conservator. He filed paperwork today contesting the hire of the man who would take his place as the one overseeing Brit's finances. Sadly, reports claim the Pop icon's father is against accountant John Zabel taking his place out of the fear that Brit's fortune is at stake!

Hopefully the judge got to watch – or at the very least, caught a glimpse of – the latest documentaries on Brit to hit the streaming services. On Netflix there's "Britney Vs. Spears" which, like Hulu's "Controlling Britney Spears," takes a deep-dive into the nasty behind-the-scenes politics of the conservatorship from people who witnessed the dynamic first-hand.

Britney Spears' fiancé Sam Asghari posted to Instagram story to celebrate the good news!
