A Cuban pilot successfully took off from Cuba and landed in Miami.
The pilot, now identified as a 29-year old Cuban mam was able to commandeer a soviet-era plane (Antonov AN-2 Soviet-era crop duster) and take off from Sancti Spiritus, Cuba and land it at Dade-Collier Training and Transition Airport at around 11:30 a.m., Friday.
The migrant was intercepted by Customs and Border Protection officers upon landing and is now in custody.
