Miami-Dade no longer has to refer to the arena where the Miami Heat play as 'FTX Arena'
A federal bankruptcy judge just ruled on Wednesday that the venue would no longer be called FTX Arena, effective immediately.
According to the bankruptcy court order, the deal for name rights that was supposed to span over 19 years for $135 million has been terminated.
Since it no longer has a name we're all curious now, what is the new name going to be???
A spokesperson for the county said, “we are referring to it as the arena in the interim”
