Being conveniently located to one of the best medical facilities in the country is a huge factor that drives people to move to a certain area.
Proximity to a hospital with great ratings provides peace of mind should one ever find themselves in need of top-notch medical care.
While there are a handful of Florida hospitals named among the best in the U.S., one is raked higher than all the rest.
According to a list compiled by Newsweek, the best hospital in Florida for 2025 is the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville.
Other Florida hospitals on the list include Tampa General Hospital in Tampa, Cleveland Clinic-Florida in Weston, and Baptist Hospital of Miami in Miami, to name only a few.
Here's what Newsweek had to say about compiling the data to discover the best hospitals across the country for the coming year:
"This year's rankings include facilities in all 50 states and the District of Columbia. The rankings were compiled using quality metrics from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and the AHA Annual Survey of Hospitals Database, a nationwide online survey among medical professionals, results from HCAHPS patient experience surveys and a voluntary PROMs (Patient-Reported Outcome Measures) implementation survey."
