If you have long nails, don't go near Natasha Lyonne's dog Root Beer.

Speaking to Variety on the red carpet at this year's Governors Awards, Lyonne recalled the story of how her dog Root Beer bit Wicked star Cynthia Erivo! She shared, "Also yesterday, Root Beer, my dog, did bite Cynthia, and I am sorry for that. It was out of love. I think Root Beer saw the nails and didn't know."

Natasha added that they were "doing a photo shoot," but that it wasn't too bad considering Root Beer's small size. She explained, "Root Beer is only this big, so luckily, nothing can happen. But, boy, did we laugh."

And responding to the comment, "Root Beer bit Elphaba," Lyonne shared that this isn't her dog's first time in this situation, sharing, "Listen, Root Beer has honestly bit a lot of people."

Natasha recently starred in Netflix film His Three Daughters, alongside Elizabeth Olsen and Carrie Coon, which tells the story of three distant sisters who reunite and come together to care for their very sick father. She is also currently working on the second season of Peacock's Poker Face, and appears in animated short film An Almost Christmas Story, voicing the character Pat.
